Guitar Pick Earrings

This design includes an officially licensed guitar pick featuring David Bowie!!  “Aladdin Sane” is the 6th studio album released in 1973, following the 1972 hit “The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars”. It was recorded in both London and NYC between legs of the Ziggy Stardust tour and features song such as “The Jean Genie” and “Drive-in Saturday”. It is said that the inspiration behind the lightning bolt makeup came from Elvis Presley’s “TCB Lightning Bolt” logo, paying homage to one of his musical heroes. This particular guitar pick looks like the album cover of “Aladdin Sane”; a white background, David Bowie dolled-up with the lightning bolt, and the text “Aladdin Sane” across the top of the pick. The reverse of the guitar pick has the license holder information.

Now talk about a fun pair of earrings! Have sensitive ears? No problem!!! We use ONLY hypoallergenic, NICKEL FREE earring hooks, and they are made with 18k gold or Sterling silver!!! These are plated, and are copper underneath, “French Hooks” with rubber backings. We’ve been told by MANY they are the only earrings their sensitive ears can handle. Even our own owner Kera has trouble wearing low quality metals and has no trouble with these! The earrings themselves are very light-weight and measure just over an inch in total length, including the pick.
