Guitar String Keychain

This design includes an officially licensed guitar pick featuring The Grateful Dead! “Grateful Dead Bears” were first seen on the album cover “History of the Grateful Dead, Volume One (Bear’s Choice)” in 1973. Often known simply as “Bear’s Choice”, the title refers to the band soundman Owsley “Bear” Stanley. The Bears represent a certain section of counterculture, one that loves marijuana and psychedelics. The album cover had 5 different colored bears, red, orange, yellow, green and blue, but have since been seen in many hues. Some of their best-selling songs include “Truckin” and “Sugar Magnolia”.  This guitar pick is double sided, has a blue background and blue Bear on one side, green background and green Bear on the reverse.

Bet you’ve never seen a keychain like this before! Handmade using recycled guitar strings AND guitar pick of your choice! Guitar strings are sourced, sorted and cleaned by hand in Detroit-ish by our Owner Kera. Hanging in the center of the handmade guitar string hoop, is the guitar pick of your choice. The guitar string hoop is adorned with 2 guitar string ends, used as beads and wire wrapping. Finally, a large keyring and a swivel lobster clasp to add your own keys with ease!

*The guitar picks colors MAY vary slightly per printing. We have no control over this, we do not print them ourselves. The colors may also look slightly different depending on your screen. We will never send you a different DESIGN, but the colors can vary slightly. Other things that MAY vary, the color of the guitar string, guitar string ends (beads) and the wire wrapping. These MAY change based on availability to our Owner/Creator, Kera. She MAY need to substitute but will NEVER choose colors that don’t look AMAZING together!
