Guitar String Keychain

This design includes an officially licensed guitar pick featuring Nirvana!! Nirvana was an American rock band formed in Washington state in 1987. Members included Kurt Cobain, Krist Novoselic and prior to 1990, their drummer was Chad Channing, before being replaced with Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters). Many credit Nirvana with popularizing alternative rock, later called Grunge music. Their second studio album is certified Diamond and found sudden success with their song “Smells Like Teen Spirit”. They released 4 studio albums including a post-humous Live album, “MTV Unplugged in New York” which won a Grammy Award. The Nirvana zonked-out smiley face logo was first designed in the summer of 1991 for their upcoming album “Nevermind”.  The image was an obvious comment on the manufactured pop music the trio were kicking back against. It has a black background, yellow outline, smile with a tongue sticking out and “X’s” for eyes.  This guitar pick has that logo with a sunbeam logo in the background as well. It is printed on both sides.

Bet you’ve never seen a keychain like this before! Handmade using recycled guitar strings AND guitar pick of your choice! Guitar strings are sourced, sorted and cleaned by hand in Detroit-ish by our Owner Kera. Hanging in the center of the handmade guitar string hoop, is the guitar pick of your choice. The guitar string hoop is adorned with 2 guitar string ends, used as beads and wire wrapping. Finally, a large keyring and a swivel lobster clasp to add your own keys with ease!

*The guitar picks colors MAY vary slightly per printing. We have no control over this, we do not print them ourselves. The colors may also look slightly different depending on your screen. We will never send you a different DESIGN, but the colors can vary slightly. Other things that MAY vary, the color of the guitar string, guitar string ends (beads) and the wire wrapping. These MAY change based on availability to our Owner/Creator, Kera. She MAY need to substitute but will NEVER choose colors that don’t look AMAZING together!
