Upcycled Guitar String Keychain

This design features a Peace sign embedded with music notes! The Peace sign was designed by Gerald Holtom for the British nuclear disarmament movement in 1958. “I was in despair. Deep despair. I drew myself: ..with hands outstretched downwards..” Holtom was quoted on Wiki. He finished the line and drew a circle around it. It became the badge of the CND, and wearing it became a sign of support for the movement. Fun fact: the original design in in the Peace Museum in Bradford, England. This particular guitar pick has a white background. The peace sign is rainbow colored and has many tiny music notes and a few flowers amongst the rainbow colors.

Bet you’ve never seen a keychain like this before! Handmade using recycled guitar strings AND guitar pick of your choice! Guitar strings are sourced, sorted and cleaned by hand in Detroit-ish by our Owner Kera. Hanging in the center of the handmade guitar string hoop, is the guitar pick of your choice. The guitar string hoop is adorned with 2 guitar string ends, used as beads and wire wrapping. Finally, a large keyring and a swivel lobster clasp to add your own keys with ease!
