Upcycled Guitar String Keychain

This design features a pink colored butterfly guitar pick!! Folklore varies in meaning; some cite the presence of butterflies warns of death or danger, others a symbol of metamorphosis. The Greek meaning of the word Butterfly is “soul” or “mind”.  Some butterflies like the Monarch and Painted Lady are so delicately resilient, they’re able to migrate over long distances. No wonder you find the butterfly in so many versions of art! It has a different meaning to each individual! This particular butterfly fan loves the symbol of transformation. It leaves me with the reminder that growth hurts, but is necessary to become our most epic versions of ourselves! Fun fact: Butterfly fossils date to the Paleocene, about 56 million years ago. This guitar pick has a white background and a pink colored butterfly.

Bet you’ve never seen a keychain like this before! Handmade using recycled guitar strings AND guitar pick of your choice! Guitar strings are sourced, sorted and cleaned by hand in Detroit-ish by our Owner Kera. Hanging in the center of the handmade guitar string hoop, is the guitar pick of your choice. The guitar string hoop is adorned with 2 guitar string ends, used as beads and wire wrapping. Finally, a large keyring and a swivel lobster clasp to add your own keys with ease!
