Upcycled Guitar String Keychain

This design features a Unicorn guitar Pick! The unicorn is often attributed with purity, freedom, health and even magic! But they were once believed to be real! World History dot org says the earliest record of unicorns is as early as 400 BCE, when the Greek historian Ctesias first documented a unicorn-like animal in his writings on the region of India. Even Julius Caesar claimed similar animals could be found in forests of Germany.  Most notably, the unicorns horn seems to be the source of its magic: A popular theme in medieval art, “The Unicorn Tapestries” can be found today in a NYC Art Museum. The set of tapestries depicts the hunt of the fabled unicorn. Perhaps for the horn alone? Ctesias did write in 400BCE that drinking from the horn would keep one from harm’s way, which included illness, convulsions and even poison!

Bet you’ve never seen a keychain like this before! Handmade using recycled guitar strings AND guitar pick of your choice! Guitar strings are sourced, sorted and cleaned by hand in Detroit-ish by our Owner Kera. Hanging in the center of the handmade guitar string hoop, is the guitar pick of your choice. The guitar string hoop is adorned with 2 guitar string ends, used as beads and wire wrapping. Finally, a large keyring and a swivel lobster clasp to add your own keys with ease!

We will never send you a different DESIGN, but the colors can vary slightly. Other things that MAY vary, the color of the guitar string, guitar string ends (beads) and the wire wrapping.
